Return & Exchange Policy

At Kimaari, we are committed to providing you with the finest handmade and hand-printed apparel from Jaipur. Since our products are crafted with traditional techniques, we maintain a strict policy to ensure fairness to both our customers and our artisans. Please review our policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Manufacturing Defects: Returns or exchanges are only accepted in the case of genuine manufacturing defects.

  • Notification Period: You must notify us of any defect within 3 days of receiving your order.

  • Mandatory Unboxing Video: To approve a return request, we require a 360-degree unboxing video starting from the opening of the original courier seal. This helps us verify the condition of the product as it was delivered.

2. Return Process

  • Approval: Once your return is approved by the Kimaari team, the product must be shipped back to our office in Bagru, Jaipur (Rajasthan) within 3 working days of the confirmation.

  • Shipping Expenses: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. In specific approved cases, we may offer a shipping credit (up to ₹80) issued as a gift card.

  • Inspection: Once we receive the product and verify its original condition (unworn, unwashed, with all tags intact), we will process the exchange or credit.

3. Important Conditions (Please Read)

  • Hand-Printed Characteristics: At Kimaari, our products are hand-printed and handmade. Minor imperfections such as slight block overlaps, minor dye spots, or variations in the print are not defects; they are the marks of authentic artisan work. Returns based on these characteristics will not be accepted.

  • Color Variations: Product colors may appear slightly different on your screen due to photography lighting or screen resolution. We do not accept returns based on minor color differences.

  • Change of Mind: We do not accept returns or exchanges based on a "dislike" of the product or style once delivered.

  • Customized & Sale Items: Products that have been altered (e.g., fall/piko, size adjustments) and items purchased during a sale are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

4. Refunds & Store Credit

  • No Cash Refunds: Kimaari does not offer cash refunds.

  • Store Credit/Exchange: Approved returns will be settled via an Exchange for a product of equal value or a Gift Card for future use.

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable and will not be included in the exchange value.

5. Order Cancellations & Shipping Damages

  • Cancellations: Kimaari reserves the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. In such cases, a full refund will be processed promptly.

  • Damaged Parcels: If your parcel arrives tampered with or physically damaged, please refuse to accept it from the courier and inform our support team immediately.

6. Legal Compliance

Kimaari adheres to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. We value our customers, but any attempt to make false claims, misuse consumer laws, or harass our team will be handled with strict legal action to protect our artisan community.
